Our goal is to increase awareness of child sexual abuse in our community and to reach out to those victimized. We invite families, service providers, churches, community members, and law enforcement to join us.

Double Donations at Your Local Peet’s

Peet’s Coffee and Tea is fundraising this Holiday Season for Survivors Healing Center (SHC) and Suicide Prevention Service (SPS), both programs of Family Service Agency of the Central Coast. Peet’s will match contributions made at designated stores between December 17 and Christmas Eve, up to $1,000 for each program.

Double your contribution to SHC by donating through Peet’s Coffee at 1409 Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz. Contributions for SPS will be accepted at Peet’s Coffee, at 819 Bay Avenue, Suite A, in Capitola.

Survivors Healing Center provides education and support services to survivors of childhood sexual abuse and to their supporters and can be reached at (831) 423-7601.

Suicide Prevention Service provides the confidential Suicide Crisis Line at 877-663-5433/877-ONE-LIFE, as well as education, outreach and support groups. Donations will support prevention trainings in our community.

Many child sexual abuse cases still go unreported. Children, parents, and friends hesitate to talk about these acts of violence because they feel shame or fear they will not find support. Penn State is one of the many institutions where sexual abuse has been kept in silence, allowing these acts of violence to affect the lives of children and adults.
